Romantic Pick Up Lines – My Top 10

This is a short collection of my all time favourite romantic pick up lines, they have worked really well for me since I started using them about a year ago.

I have tried sweet pick up lines, cute pick up lines, funny pick up lines but I’ve found from personal experience that girls can’t resist romantic pick up lines – below are the 10 best one liners I have used with lots of success. Feel free to borrow them, try them out and see if you agree that they are great lines which really work.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw you – said with plenty of charm this is a surefire winner and is the undisputed king of romantic pick up lines.

I think God took the color from the ocean and put it in your eyes – girls love to be complimented on the color of their eyes, and it makes you look good that this is the first part of their body you have noticed (if you know what I mean)

I just wanted to show this rose how incredibly beautiful you are!! – this one has the benefit of making you look funny AND romantic. As soon as I use this pick up line they normally laugh as well as being flattered and I am off and running.

My dad was Fred Astaire, and my mom was Ginger Rogers. Would you like to dance? – this won me a bet as all my friends thought I didn’t stand a chance. Sweet!

God was showing off when he made you. – this one’s my banker. It has worked for me time and time again. Short and to the point. Oh brother how I love these romantic pick up lines.

Are you as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside? – Shows you have noticed how hot she looks but also shows your sensitive side. I have had quite a bit of success with this one.

Do you have a Band-aid? Because I just scraped my knee falling for you. – moderate success with this one, doesn’t always work but normally makes her laugh.

Excuse me; I think you have something in your eye. Nope, it’s just a sparkle. – I only use this one when I have had an indication that she is already interested. Establishes eye contact straight away and girls always fall for this. Try it too soon though and you’ll put her off.

Is it hot in here or is it just you? – warning, only use this one if you have the confidence to really say romantic pick up lines without fear of failure. I have been using this one for a while now..but with some success.

You must be a magician, because everytime I look at you, everyone else disappears. – this is an old favourite because it was the first one I ever had success with after I read guy gets girl. It was then I realised how easy it is to talk to girls.

The key to making these romantic pick up lines work is to have confidence. They work VERY well for me but on their own they probably won’t turn you into a chick magnet overnight – you need a little bit more to really make them stick.

The Truth? You Need More Than Simple Pick Up Lines To Succeed…Here’s How

Romantic pick up lines are a great way to open a conversation and they can work really well with the right follow up. But they won’t get you very far if they are all you have.

Being successful with woman is a skill you need to pick up – just like driving a car. Once you know what to do then it far easier than you might think, but you need to know the right steps and get a good instructor.

It wasn’t until I came across a book about picking up women by Tiffany Taylor that I actually started having any real success around girls. I had been trying out my one liners and pick up lines but I have to admit I was bombing more often than not. I was getting to talk to girls a little more (which was cool) but I couldn’t seem to take things on to the next stage. I knew it wasn’t my looks (I know plenty of “ugly” gys who do just fine with the girls around here) and so I knew I just needed a plan of action. I was getting pretty frustrated at my lack of success and was pretty desperate to try and change things up.

It was actually a friend of a friends who put me onto the book (he had bought it a while back and was starting to find that he was really “pulling in the chcicks now” as he put it). I was a bit skeptical but it certainly looked to be working for him so I decided to give it a go.

I’m not normally one for books – I learn better by doing things and experimenting but this was different – the tips in here were like dynamite because they are all coming from a woman who has studied exactly what it is that woman want and how to apply it all during the pick up phase. And best of all it gets down to the nitty gritty and doesn’t waste time on all of the theory stuff.

It is all ethical behaviour (no rubbish like hypnotism or anything) but some of the tips she gives in the pyschology section almost feel like cheating they are so powerful *and sneaky and it’s all laid out in a step by step system which even the lamest jackass can follow.

I’ve gone on to read quite a few pick up books (especially after this one worked so well) but it was the first one I ever bought and still by far and away the best.

After Romantic Pick Up Lines

Thanks for dropping by my site. I appreciate it and I’ve put together a great top 10 list of romantic pickup lines you can go ahead and use. Hope they help you kick butt!

I have used most of the lines here but I was getting really frustrated because I didn’t know how to follow them up. They were good for starting the conversation and then nothing. I used to use these as a bit of a crutch actually but the trouble was I had nothing to back it up. Very embarrassing.

I did a whole bunch of research on the best way to talk to women and attract them in the first place and one resource I found pretty useful was Tiffany Taylor’s site. She writes some good stuff about how to pick up girls from a womens perspective so it’s a bit like eavesdropping on what girls really want. But what do you do next?Timing is crucial and it is now you need to step up your game.

There is no worse feeling in the world than using a great one liner, seeing it work like a charm, and then…nothing! The girl gets bored by the conversation, leaves you to join her friends and you are back to where you started.

Sweet one liners

Here is an alternative to out and out romantic pick up lines – they may work well for you. I use them sometimes depending on the look of the girl I am trying to approach and have had a lot of success.

  1. You must be a prizefighter. One look at you, and I’m knocked out.

    This is quite a cute one liner which works well.

  2. O.K. you can kiss me later, but don’t tell anybody.

    This one is more risque than most romantic pick up lines but depending on how you say it (with a big cheeky smile) can get results. Warning, this one liner can also get a drink thrown over you so don’t say you haven’t been warned.

  3. Hey, if I kiss you, will I get slapped?

    Short sharp funny pick up lines can be quite successful – hey, the worse she can say is no right?

  4. I memorized every number in the phone book, but managed to lose yours. I’m gonna need to get that.

    One of my favourites – it is not in the list of romantic one liners but it quite often scores a touchdown.

  5. With my luck, you’re probably here with someone.

    The key to being successful with this one is to say it as if you are joking and that really you are used to good luck..say it like a winner, not a loser, and you will be straight in the game.

I hope this post shows that there are many ways to skin a cat and not all one liners need to be romantic pick up lines to work.

One liners get your foot through the door

Romantic pick up lines will get you talking to women…what you do next is the secret to having a lot of fun.

You need to be super confident when you use these romantic pick up lines – say them as if you are not even thinking of failing. You also need to know when to step up the ante and take the conversation on the flirt stage. If you have used romantic pick up lines to get her interested you will have an easy time of this – she already respects you, you have made her laugh and so keep the conversation nice and light but step up your game and go in for the kill.

This hardly ever fails for me and I pick up a lot of girls – I hope you can start doing the same!

Beat the competition with romantic one liners

Picking up girls is like running a race -you are in competition with other guys, right?

Guys at her office, guys at the gym, guys at her local bar – all competition.

BUT, how many of these guys are using romantic pick up lines? Sure, they may be using one liners which these girls have heard hundreds of times before – but I have found that they really respond well to romantic one liners delivered in a funny way…well it seems to work for me.

I have put together some romantic pick up lines which have worked well for me in the past – why not try them out next time you are out?

Did the sun come up or did you just smile at me?

Do you believe in love at first sight or do I have to walk past you again?
